    13:05 15 thousand RPM, Doug.
The batteries don't just VROOM by themselves with their "battery power".
It actually has an electric motor that effectively rotates until 15000RPM, yeah, I know 🤯🤯🤯

    13:05 "But 15 what?" 😂
I thought he was talking about no need for tachometer because it had no gears, but actually he really thinks the tachometer makes no sense because there's nothing rotating in that car, he thinks the batteries just VROOM by themselves 😅

This is a V1 roadster, so its very limited and not as collectable as later versions. The last update (or R80 upgrade) was the V3, which replaced the battery with a higher density (80KwH) version that gives it 350 mile range. In addition, the touchscreen was moved to the center console.

If the motor is not turning then the car is not moving... Im quite shure that there are rotating parts @ electric motor. This is stupid. 15krpm is totally possible and the tachometer for shure gives motor rpm, not the power usage.

You wanna disable your Airbag in case of a crash/ emergency. That it does not blow up in your face, when you try to rescue the driver. first aid class told me that. Gas cars dont have that, because you can kill the airbag with turning off the ignition.

Let's talk about why risk matters. The Highway Transportation System, or HTS, is made up of many different types of people, vehicles, and roadways.
You have the most control over your safety within the system. Risky behavior is not just extremely annoying and rude, it puts other road users in the system in serious danger as well.
The good news is, you can greatly reduce your risk of a collision by learning how to navigate the system like a pro and by using safe skills to reduce your risk.
So you're on the right track. This course, along with solid behind the wheel practice, will prepare you with the skills and safety habits to help you take control of your own and others' safety.
    Risk Factors
Let's be real. A certain amount of risk while driving is unavoidable. After all, you're driving a two-ton block of steel on wheels at speeds of up to 70 miles per hour (mph)!

But seriously, what are some of the most common risk factors for young drivers, and what safe skills can you practice to reduce those risks?
6 Common Risk Factors for Young Drivers and Your Safe Skills Response
    Inexperience
    Teen passengers
    Distractions
    Risky driving
    Impaired driving
    Driving at night
    1. Inexperience
    Inexperience
Yup, it's nothing personal, but think about it, would you be expected to play Mozart the first time you picked up a violin? Snowboard on a black diamond run without falling on your rump a few thousand times on the kiddy slope? Not a chance. Driving is a skill, and just like any skill, it takes practice.
    SAFE SKILLS
Practice defensive driving habits with an adult or driving instructor in the car as much as possible.
Assess your fitness to drive before you get in the car. This means your mental, physical and emotional well-being, including whether you've had enough sleep. This is so important, we've devoted an entire module to it in this course!
    2. Teen passengers
    Teen passengers
The image shows a driver distracted by teen passengers.
Let's face it, your friends are distracting—they want to joke around, or show you something on their phone, when you've got one job to do—drive safely. It's up to you to have the maturity to take control. An important note, know where you fit into Florida's Graduated Driver's Licensing (GDL), because you may have restrictions on when and with whom you drive.
    SAFE SKILLS
Make sure you and your friends are buckled up, and they understand that they should not distract you while you're driving.
Make sure someone you trust and who is reliable sits in the front seat to help with directions or other tasks, so you can focus on your drive.
    3. Distractions
    Distractions
The image shows a driver distracted by a cell phone.
These include cell phone calls and texting (even hands-free!), as well as personal distractions, like grooming and eating behind the wheel—ewwww. Don't discount the danger of this risk. While knowledge and skills are important, attitudes and their corresponding behaviors play a larger role in driver safety!
    SAFE SKILLS
Focus. Drive and only drive when you are behind the wheel.
Dock your phone on the dashboard if you must use a GPS.
Put your phone on Do Not Disturb (DND) or Driving Mode.
Put the phone in the glove compartment if you find you cannot resist touching it. (You know who you are!)
    4. Risky driving
    Risky driving
The image shows a driver taking a hand off the steering wheel to reach for an object in the back seat.
You may know somebody like this—they drive like they're auditioning for a racing movie: speeding, tailgating, not using signals …
    SAFE SKILLS
Consider others. Drive for their safety, as well as your own.
Use the defensive driving skills you learn in this course, such as adjusting your speed to road conditions and using proper signaling, whenever you're on the road.
    5. Impaired driving
    Drinking and driving
The image shows a person rejecting an alcoholic drink while their car keys are in front of them.
Drinking alcohol impairs the very skills you need to be a safer driver. Also, don't think pot is any different—it screws up your spatial perception and several other essential brain functions. Even an over-the counter medication could be a problem—any substance that affects your fitness to drive can be dangerous. A driver may be impaired by a drug, but a driver can also be impaired by strong emotions, illness, or fatigue. An impaired driver is an unsafe driver.
    SAFE SKILLS
    Drive sober.
If you or your friends decide to have even one drink, plan ahead for a ride so you all get home safely.
If you're sleepy, angry, or have a fever, don't drive. Your driving skills can be impaired just as bad by being fatigued as they can by being intoxicated.
    6. Driving at night
    Driving at night
The image shows a driver concerned about the increased risk of driving at night.
It's plain and simple: you just can't see as well at night, so you have to be extra careful.
    SAFE SKILLS
Turn your lights on between dusk and dawn.
    Drive more slowly at night.
Expand your space cushion, especially in bad weather or challenging road conditions.
Adjust your rearview mirror for night use.
Use your low and high beams appropriately: the law says you must turn on your low beams from sunset to sunrise, and whenever visibility is low. Do not use high beams within 300 ft of a vehicle ahead of you going the same direction, or within 500 ft of an oncoming vehicle.
Always wear your prescriptive glasses or your contact lenses if you need to, and have an extra pair in the car along with lens solution.
